Allah states:
“And never let your Hatred, against any People, prevent you from behaving justly.”
(Noble-Qur’ān: Chpt.5, V.8)
Muhammad (Peace be upon them) stated:
“Character will weigh heaviest upon the Scales.”
(an-Nawawī)
al-Muqaddimah/Prelude
I’ve noticed a Disgustingly-Popular Trend, within the Muslim-Influencer Sphere. What I’ve observed is outright Public-Displays of Defamation-Of-Character. The Social-Media Realm is 💯% predicated upon what I call “Controversy is the Best-Publicity.”. With that being said: it’s basically a Free-For-All to claim anything about anyone just for Attention, Likes, Views, Followers, etc.
I’ll be detailing one such Example/Scenario, as per what I’m talking about. It’s about a Particular Instagram-Page known as “@jamila.fair”. Honestly, I don’t even know whether this is a Real-Person. But, what I do know is that the Slander against a Fellow-Muslim they’ve directly imposed against Others is 💯%-Real.
The Spiritual-Dangers of the Social-Media Realm

another Muslim Social-Media Influencer,
who goes by the Name “Korra The Taymi”.
So…who’s “Korra” who “Jamila Fair” has been referring to, regarding their Instagram-Post?!!!

When directly confronted about this IG-Video, via their Post on their Social-Media Platform, “Jamila Fair” conjured the Following-Response:

This was my Response to “Jamila Fair”:

The Reason how/why Accusations are so serious
Accusing someone/anyone, especially any Muslim accusing any Fellow-Muslim, of Accusations which’re either untruthful or unproven: Things like this has the Great-Potential to ruin and/or endanger the Lives of Others. Even for any Muslim to do this to any Non-Muslim would be Dead-Ass-Wrong. Accusing anyone (whether they’re Muslim or Non-Muslim) of anything Mahrūm (Islāmically-Prohibited) is a Kibār (Major-Sin) known as al-Buhtān/al-Humazah (Slander/Defamation).
(al-Kabā’ir/The Major-Sins, adh-Dhahabī)
Moreover, via al-Ākhirah/the Hereafter, the `Adhāb/Punishment which Allah will impose upon the Slander is 2-Fold under the Same-Punish generally for oppressing anyone.

More by each Day, it seems as though “Slander Sells”. It’s like all which is posted via Social-Media is Lies against Others. And, if/when Fellow-Muslims invite themselves to the Slander-Cookout: that’s even worse. I mean, as Muslims, let’s seriously self-examine how/why we do Social-Media:
Is Social-Media really that “important”?!!!
Is being a “Social-Media Influencer” really that “important”?!!!
Is being a “Social-Media Influencer” really worth acquiring the Wrath-Of-Allah via slandering/defaming Other-Humans, Fellow-Muslims, etc.?!!!
(Literally) each/all of us must absolutely be capable, willing, etc. to give Intelligent-Answers to ourselves individually to each/all of the Aforementioned-Questions.
