al-Muqaddimah/Prelude
For Decades, so many Afro-Americans via the United States (as well as Afro-Americans via Latin-America, Canada, etc.) have often claimed the Famous-Claim “I got Indian in my Family.”. Probably every Afro-American has heard such a Narrative: either from other Afro-Americans, or even from one’s own Relatives. However, more often than not: the “I got Indian in my Family.” for many Afro-Americans is more Family-Folklore, as opposed to Genetic-Reality, hence the Typical/Classic “Ole-Wives Tale”. This is literally what’s used, via many Afro-Americans, to attempt to explain how/why So&So in the Family got “Long&Nice-Hair”, “Good-Hair”, etc. and of course those “High Cheek-Bones” (which ironically aren’t even Genetic-Features exclusive to Native-Americans anyway).
POV: Why most black people aren’t “part Indian,” despite family lore.

Failing to do Authentic Familial-Research
Now…I’m not going to dismiss every/all Native-American Ancestry Claims. Because, there’s enough American-Historical Documentation which can actually prove me wrong. However, what I’m definitely going to do is vehemently challenge the Claims Certain-Persons make. And, these’re the Reasons how/why.
1. Many Afro-Americans are lazy, when it comes to truly learning/knowing anything about their Ancestry.
2. The Few who do actually attempt to investigate their Ancestries, many of them honestly don’t even have much to go on. And, that’s because Certain-Families deliberately chose to not disclose what’s considered “Family-Secrets” regarding Ancestry.
3. Because, as per U.S.-Census Records, many Afro-Americans have Ancestors listed as “Mulatto”: to be just/fair “Mulatto” could actually mean “Afro-American and Euro-American”, “Afro-American and Native-American”, etc.
So, because of the Aforementioned-Facts: there must be Extensive Historical-Research done which takes Time&Energy.
The Uncomfortable-Subject regarding Afro-American and Native-American Relations
It’s Public-Fact, that there were Native-American Slave-Owners. In fact, ironically, most Native-American Slave-Owners were from the Cherokee-Nation. And, it makes Lots-Of-Sense how/why of all the other Native-American Nations: the Average Afro-American always claims “I got Cherokee-Blood.”.
But, even if the “I got Cherokee-Blood.” is actually true. There’s something else. More than likely, the Reason how/why that may be true is that “Geronimo” was Fuckin “Big-Momma” as per Slave-Master and Slave Relationships. This is how/why Lots of Afro-Americans try to fetishize “Native-American Ancestry”, in spite of the Fact that Native-American Slave-Owners were Fuckin their Slaves just like Euro-American Slave-Owners and Afro-American Slave-Owners were Fuckin their African-Slaves.
So, in an Attempt to rid one’s Self, one’s Heritage, etc. from the High-Probability of what I’ve aforementioned being truthful/honest: there’s Lots of Afro-Americans whom settle for Familial-Folklore, as opposed to Truthful/Honest-Research concerning one’s American-Ancestry. It actually is a Manifestation of Self-Hate, to hide behind Familial-Folklore. It’s truly Lazy-Efforts, to just simply rely upon what Relative-So&So said about one’s Familial-Heritage.
