I’ve a Serious-Issue/Problem with Individuals Ghost-Posting via Online, Social-Media, using Pseudonyms, etc. It directly/overtly indicates to me: Insincerity, Dishonesty, etc. Most of all, it wreaks of Cowardice. I was tagged in a Post-Thread, via a FB-Group called Muslim Love Stories. It’s a Group where Muslims discuss Sexual-Relationships via an Islāmic-Context. So, I get the Notification of the Post…I check-out the Post…and then here’s what I come across.
For the Record: the Only-Reason how/why I even commented is because I was personally-tagged (via the Comment-Section of This-Post).
So, the Following-Exchange below is between myself & the Anonymous-Person (quite frankly I’ve 0-Idea whom This-Person was & may never find-out their True-Identity).
That’s how the Convo ended. To be honest, ironically, I actually agree with the Post itself. The Reason how/why I agree whole-heartedly is because everything via That-Post I’ve personally lived, experienced, witnessed, counseled Countless-Persons about, etc. So, it’s not like the Anonymous-Person is being Untruthful/Dishonest. However, the Anonymity of the Post-Author greatly took away any Significant-Validity via their Argument. And, I get it: Certain-Persons are tired of being Victims/Casualties of “Cancel-Culture”, don’t want to even be Victims/Casualties of “Cancel-Culture”, etc. But, fuck all that!!! If you’ve got the Balls to release something publicly, then let your Name stand by it. As I already mentioned to the Anonymous-Person: literally they feared their Post being rejected by Others…People don’t even know whom they are & what they stated still was rejected. So, I’m still trying to make Sense of what the Point was of them operating via Anonymity.
Well…perhaps I’ll never know, or that Allah doesn’t have it meant for me to know, or it’s best that I don’t/never know, etc. What I do know, however, via al-Yaqīn/Certainty: there’s 0-Way that I’m going to publicly post anything & purposely cover my Identity. I believe being transparent, open, obvious, etc. I believe in standing behind whatever I project, promote, pontificate, claim, convey, etc. I refuse to be afraid of Rejection, Deflection, Dismissal, etc. I actually respect those whom disagree with me, dislike me, hate me, etc. And it’s because you’ll always know precisely what People think/how they feel about you, if/when they dislike/despise you.
