Gareth Bryant’s Rankings of al-Khulafā’/Islāmic-Rulers

This-Risālah/Article is an Intro. to what I’ll be releasing as a Series of the 4-Periods of Muslim/Islāmic-History (relative to the Revelation of The Qur’ān), surrounding the Khilāfah/Islāmic-State of the Muslims from 23-1341, AH/632-1922, CE.

al-Muqaddimah/Prelude

I initially began this Khulafā’-Ranking Project, resulting from me watching “Roman-Emperor Rankings” via YouTube. I literally live for as-Sīrah/at-Tārīkh (Biography/History). So, as I was watching these Ranking-Videos: I started looking for Khalīfah-Ranks of the Same-Caliber…at the Time I couldn’t find any Rankings of the Khulafā’.

As per the Types of Rankings themselves

The Way I envision the Khulafā’-Rankings is to exclusively focus on the Effectiveness/Ineffectiveness of Khulafā’ to do the Job of a Khalīfah/Islāmic-Ruler. This will have Little-To-Nothing to do with one’s Personal-Piety. Rather, it’ll exclusively be due to one’s Bureaucratic-Accumen or lack thereof.

Tier-S: Spectacular

Tier-A: Accomplished

Tier-B: Better

Tier-C: Competent

Tier-D: Derelict

Tier-E: Embarrassing

Tier-F: Failure

The Khilāfah-Periods which the Khulafā’ I’ll be ranking hail from

The Rāshīdī-Period

The Umayyī-Period

The `Abbāsī-Period

The `Uthmānī-Period

Unlike other Rulership-Rankings, I’m not going to rank All-Khulafā’ via 1-Collective

But, why’re you ranking them in Separate-Periods?!!!

#GoodQuestion…

…#Answer:

a. That actually cheapens the Ranking-Experience.

b. It’s Academically-Lazy for me to do that. It takes More-Effort to individualize each Set of Khulafá’ from each Khilāfah-Period.

c. It’s much more interesting&fun to do it the Way I’ve done it.

d. It’s a lot less Information-Overload.

What’s the Maslahah/Purpose of even talking about this?!!!

#GoodQuestion…

…#Answer:

1. Islāmic-History is important.

2. Islāmic-History is important, because it’s Part of al-Islām.

3. Islāmic-History is something particular which the Average-Muslim doesn’t know.

4. Islāmic-History is Mad-Cool.

5. The Khulafā’ a Part of Islāmic-History, by default/definition.

What should the Read hope to gain from this?!!!

#GoodQuestion…

…#Answer:

That Muslims begin to take pride in the Lengthy-History/Legacy of Muslim/Islāmic-Leadership (relative to the Revelation of The Qur’ān), in spite of the Challenges, Pitfalls, Setbacks, Failures, etc. It’s my Rajā/Hope, that the Reader utilizes This-Risālah as a Tool to dig even deeper into the Richness of Muslim/Islāmic-History.
