A Popular Ramadhān-Misconception
As per the Fasting-Month of Ramadhān: the Ahādīth/Narrations of Muhammad (Peace be upon them) discussing that amongst the Favors Allah grants is the Chaining of ash-Shayātīn…These-Ahādīth are grossly mistranslated/misinterpreted. as-Sunnah (Prophetic-Tradition), in conjunction with what Allah states via al-Qur’ān (Recitable-Revelation), explain clearly that only the Shayātīn amongst Jinns are chained during the Month-Of-Ramadhān.
It’s very important to recognize/accept: ash-Shaytān (Satan) themselves are never chained during Ramadhān. And, as was aforementioned: al-Waswās is described via al-Qur’ān as something which ash-Shaytān uses both Jinns & Humans to whisper into the Sudūr (Minds&Hearts) of Mankind. Honestly, I’ve never even understood how/why so many Muslims missed something so very obvious.

Ironically, amongst the Countless-Proofs that there exists Shayātīn amongst Humans are those whom oppress Other-People during Ramadhān itself. Oppressing Other-People, for Obvious-Reasons, takes a Multitude of Forms/Types. However, generally-If one goes out of their Way to cause Deliberate-Harm (regardless of whether the Oppresdor is Muslim or Non-Muslim) to any Fellow-Human during Ramadhān (Threats, Theft, Murder, Assault, Abuse, etc.), then know surely: Those-Mothafuckas are Human-Shayātīn.

I’ve had plenty of Nigga-Moments…
…every Nigga-Moment I’ve ever been
in was initiated by a Coward with
0 Self-Esteem, 0-Aspirations, 0-Future, etc.
The Countless-Scenarios I’ve had to address: whether they end-up being civil, violent, tragic, etc. during Ramadhān or even rite before Ramadhān begins…these Personal-Experiences consolidates my Religio-Conclusions that there’s 0-Way that only Jinns are Shayātīn.
Now, granted, one can argue that any Random-Situation with any Fellow-Human:
They probably didn’t know/care whether the Person they oppressed, harassed, annoyed, etc. were Muslim.
They could’ve been Intoxicated…Realistic-Probability.
They could’ve been Mentally-Ill…Realistic-Probability.
etc.
Yet, at the Same-Time:
Sober-People do the Same-Shit.
Mentally-Normal People do the Same-Shit.
etc.
With that being said: it’s supposed to be easy/easier for the Muslim to identify (either within ourselves or within Others) whom amongst al-Insān (Human-Beings) are ash-Shayātīn. But, there’s a Sabab/Reason how/why Most-Muslims never possess such a Perspective: Most-Muslims will never recognize/accept the Realistically-Probability that we’re Shayātīn ourselves either consciously or unconsciously. Ironically, the Shahr/Month of Ramadhān actually exists to personally self-assess just how much of an Influence ash-Shaytān actually has over our Lives, relative to how severely we given-in to the Waswās of ash-Shaytān. Y’all ain’t ready for This-Type/Kind of Convo.
In spite of the Shayātīn amongst al-Jinn are chained during Ramadhān: that in no Way means that the Influence of ash-Shaytān has completely vanished, but it does mean that we as Muslim-Humans have Less-A`dhār as per our Negative-Character/Behavior. Also, as I’ve aforementioned: ash-Shaytān does indeed have Less-Help during Ramadhān…that doesn’t mean that ash-Shaytān doesn’t have Shayātīn-Reservists. Those Shayātīn-Reservists, of course are Muslim&Non-Muslim-Humans.
Examples of Human-Shayātīn
Any Human is a Sorcerer/Magician.
Any Human who’s an Astrologer (Fortune-Teller, Tarot-Reader, Psychic, etc.).
Any Human who’s a Sexual-Deviant/Predator.
Any Human who’s a Murderer.
Any Human who’s a Tyrant.
Any Human who’s a Criminal.
etc.
So, generally, it’s always very important to be on the Lookout for All-Shayātīn…constantly/consistently asking Allah to protect us from them.
